Shinano Mainichi Newspaper introduced our products - First wintering deer confirmed in Kamikochi
An article published in the Shinano Mainichi Shimbun on March 26, 2026, reported on the first confirmed case of Japanese deer overwintering in Kamikochi, noting that our GPS collar, the “LoggLaw G2C,” was used in this study.
Survey Overview
In a study conducted by the Matsumoto Branch of the Japan Nature Conservation Association, it was confirmed for the first time that Japanese deer are overwintering in the forested areas of Kamikochi at elevations exceeding 1,600 meters. Tracking data from deer fitted with our "LoggLaw G2C" GPS collars revealed their home ranges from August 2025 to January 2026, indicating the possibility of their establishment in the Kamikochi area.
